The Women's Buyer is responsible for creating the proper product assortment per door guaranteeing local needs, global Brand strategies and seasonal goals, in order to achieve the top line sales budget. Seasonal re-assortment and replenishment of product, regular consolidations to exploit sales trends and improve seasonal sell thru while liaising with Directors of Stores, Store Managers, Sr Planner, Visual Merchandiser. In addition, the Women's Buyer is responsible for market analysis in terms of sales, trends to inform buys and identify opportunities. Partners with the Sr. CRM Manager on customer characteristics for the North America stores to ensure all aspects are considered when building merchandising plan and actions. Constantly strengthen their knowledge of the different markets (stores, clients and competitors wise) through weekly analysis and seasonal visits to stores.




· Responsible for achieving sales, financial goals and assortment of product categories

· Defines the product orders and the seasonal replenishment for each store, in accordance with the Merchandising guidelines and with the support of the Retail Planning function

·Analyze sales and stock to maximize sales opportunities

·Partner with Senior Planner to complete financial forecasts, evaluating sales, markdowns, open to buy and discounts for outlet locations to be presented to VP of Merchandising

·In concert with Senior Planner, weekly monitor seasonal inventory in OMLOG to insure that seasonal inventory is in stores and not the warehouse

·Advocate for market appropriate product, inclusive of pre-launches, capsules and exclusives

Product Training:

· Presents the content of the Collection to Store Teams in collaboration with Director of Stores, Visual Merchandisers and Retail Excellence, with regards to the pertinent product categories and providing them all the technical and functional information

·Ensure product knowledge and focus on key investment is kept top of mind throughout the season via ad hoc documents (newsletter, gift and cross selling guides)

Market and Product Analysis:

·Visit key markets  twice a year to perform analysis on the market distinctiveness in terms of trend, competitor positioning, customer characteristics

·Monitors the sales trend on a weekly base on consistent presence/communication with stores and weekly product qualitative comments about sales and stock (partner with Planning team on content), to ensure each store has a proper product assortment to maximize the sales performance while optimizing/boosting the sell through. Share Weekly Report with leadership.

·Collaborates with Management and Visual Merchandising Team on stock needs, merchandise presentation and best sellers in order to enhance the VM display guaranteeing product availability

·In tandem with Sr Planner and finance division create monthly executive summary with regard to individual store performance and product performance to be presented to VP of Merchandising and President of Luxury Goods

·Collect product feedbacks form stores through store visits, reports to be filled in and video conferences

·Regularly report to HQ via a detailed end of season/ quarterly hindsight document to ensure NA results, feedback and needs are top of mind

Visual Merchandising:

·Partners with Visual Merchandising Team for the setup of the stores installation in his/her area of competence, ensuring the appropriate presence of product both in windows and interior of stores
