Boldness and creativity
LVMH and its Houses aim to attract, recruit and develop the very best talent. We hire creative thinkers who have a pragmatic business mind, an international outlook, and an appreciation for luxury goods. A commitment to excellence and an ability to anticipate the future while respecting the DNA of our brands are essential to a fulfilling and successful career in the prestigious environment of the LVMH group.
Ecosystem and diversity
Entirely devoted to luxury, the LVMH ecosystem is a combination of the many different “métiers” involved in the product life cycle, from creation to distribution, and covers numerous business sectors. Our employees draw their experience and opportunities from this vast range of activities. Within the Group, professions and profiles from all different backgrounds work together towards the achievement of excellence.
Exchange and career
Knowing our talents and understanding their future intentions is essential to ensure the continuity and success of LVMH. The performance and career review is a process in which all Group employees take part at the end of every year. It is an opportunity for exchange and discussion and takes the form of an individual interview between the manager and the members of his or her team, designed to evaluate performance, set objectives for the forthcoming year, and define career aspirations and perspectives in the short and medium term for each employee.
Training and network
All employees benefit from an induction program as soon as they arrive in the LVMH group. This training allows them to become familiar with the LVMH universe and its Houses, to raise their awareness of all the challenges that the Group faces and to discover the professions that are represented within it. These days are opportunities to meet other employees with equivalent responsibilities who have joined LVMH at the same time, in order to build up a network.
Intranet and collaboration
Ensuring exchange and dialog among Group employees is essential in a decentralized organization system like LVMH. This is why we have established an open and interactive Group intranet for all our employees. A section of the intranet has been designed so that each person can discuss issues with their peers and share expertise and professional experience on a Group level.
Mobility and development
Mobility is one of the pillars of our human resources policy. It is a beneficial element in career progression within the LVMH group. Human resources committees covering all levels of responsibility and professions are regularly organized in the various geographical zones in order to match internal candidates to forthcoming positions to be filled. The first allocations are often made inside the same House or the same business, in order to acquire the fundamental elements of the profession, then the following allocations aim to achieve complementarity in other fields and areas. Around 2,500 employees benefited from mobility in 2014.
