·

After France, the LVMH Métiers d’Excellence “You and ME” tour continues in Italy, presenting the unique skills practiced in the Group’s many craft, creative and customer experience métiers, along with over 1,000 job and training opportunities. The traveling jobs and vocational training fair will reach out to future talents from April to September, visiting Florence, Novare and Padua.

First stop: Florence, Palazzo Pucci – April 14-15, 2023

The Italian leg of the tour was opened by Toni Belloni, LVMH Group Managing Director, Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Synergies, Serge Brunschwig, Chairman and CEO of Fendi, and Alexandre Boquel, Director of LVMH Métiers d’Excellence. Joined by Florence mayor Dario Nardella, they presented the LVMH Group’s commitment to employment for young generations and people seeking retraining opportunities in creative, craft and customer experience professions.

“In Italy, our métiers centered on unique savoir-faire are also seeking fresh talents! From leather goods, jewelry, or the shoe industry to retail, hospitality and restaurants… It is essential to ensure the transmission of these métiers that make the “Made in Italy” shine throughout the world. It is precisely for these reasons that we wanted to promote the You and ME tour beyond the French borders and begin an extension of it in neighboring Italy, starting on April 14 in Florence”said Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Synergies.

Palazzo Pucci welcomed some visitors, who had a chance to discover many of the 280 exceptional métiers practiced across the LVMH Group, and apply for more than 1,000 openings – internships, work/study programs, fixed-term and permanent jobs – available at LVMH Maisons in Italy. Their face-to-face meetings with artisans and representatives of the Maisons – including many members of human resources teams – gave them a better understanding of these métiers and a chance to benefit from personalized career guidance.

The youandme.lvmh.it website is available for registration for the different stops on the Italian tour in the “Events” section. People can also find complete information and apply directly on the site for all the different training programs and job offers available in Italy in 2023.

Second stop: Novare, May 26

LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Director Alexandre Boquel outlined the Group’s objectives in promoting employment opportunities, joined by Damien Bertrand, CEO of Loro Piana, Stefania Lazzaroni, President of the Fondazione Altagamma, and Novare Mayor Alessandro Canelli. The You and ME tour is designed to attract talented candidates – both young people or people seeking reskilling opportunities – for over 1,000 training and job opportunities available in Italy. The event took place at an exceptional venue, Novara Castle, inviting enthusiastic attendees to see demonstrations by skilled professionals from Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Sephora, Cova and Loro Piana. Founded in 1924, Loro Piana is renowned for its expertise in transforming the noblest natural raw materials into exquisite quality fabrics thanks to the talents of its artisans. Loro Piana is actively engaged in efforts to support young people and help them develop their skills. Interested candidates had a chance to apply during the event for training or employment opportunities offered by LVMH Maisons in Italy in textiles, hosiery and leather goods.
