Job Overview:

The Fashion Group Business Analyst & Collection Merchandise will play a key role in supporting the analysis of product performance across all Maisons and product lines within the Fashion Group by working closely with Anne Collinet, Fashion Group Chief Product and Business Development Officer, to provide detailed insights into collection plans, pricing strategies, and market trends, ultimately contributing to informed decision-making and optimized merchandising strategies for our ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of product performance data across all Maisons and product lines, identifying key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collection Planning Support: Assist in the analysis of collection plans, providing data-driven insights to optimize product assortment, identify potential gaps, and align with market demand.
  • Pricing Analysis: Analyze pricing strategies and competitive positioning, providing recommendations to optimize pricing structures and maximize profitability.
  • Trend Identification & Reporting: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, providing regular reports and insights to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis, developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to gather data, share insights, and support the implementation of merchandising strategies.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis & Support: Provide ad-hoc analytical support to Anne Collinet and the merchandising team as needed, addressing specific business questions and challenges.
  • Recommendations: Formulate recommendations based on analyses for inventory, assortment, pricing strategies.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years of experience in a business retail merchandising role, preferably within our Fashion group ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze product performance data and provide actionable insights.
  • A passion for fashion and a strong understanding of market trends.
  • Fluency in English. French is a strong plus
