Posizione

Responsible for supporting the merchandising manager by ensuring that all the administrative and support functions of the MD department are going smoothly.  Daily communication with stores and providing information to MD team is mandatory for timely in-store launches and keep appropriate inventory of each store to maximize Japan’s sales.

Responsabilità del ruolo

 

  • Assist in executing action plans in line with MD Managers to reach company sales and sell-through objectives
  • Monitor daily inventory levels and collaborate with Supply Chain teams to coordinate product transfers and replenishments for both retail stores
  • Conduct regular product rebalancing to maximize sell-through
  • Support product buying activities by providing relevant business and sales data, and by preparing buying session presentations and materials.
  • Share seasonal collection details, product knowledge, and selling techniques with store teams to enhance selling efficiency
  • Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising reports under the supervision of the Merchandising Manager.
  • Maintain close, daily communication with Store Managers to ensure alignment on merchandising priorities and store needs.

Profilo

  • Education: University degree or higher
  • Language: Native level Japanese and Business level English
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience as MD Coordinator in retail is preferable
    • Selling experience in sores is a plus
    • Retail Operations experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Competencies:
    • Result oriented

    • Good negotiator
    • Team worker
  • Others: Must have PC skills (Excel, Power Point), Good at System (QLIK, SAP, Cegid, ANAPLAN, VIP, Buying Board)
