Financial Controller

LVMH Beauty is on the hunt for a Financial Controller. You will be joining LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics, a part of the LVMH Group, working with brands that are driven by a quest for excellence, creativity, innovation and the perfect mastery of their image. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis/Controlling

• Co-ordinate the preparation of annual budget cycle, rolling forecast, business review and other financial ad-hoc analysis in accordance with HQ / APAC instructions and timelines
• Assist GM / Brand director on constructing and monitoring the budget and forecast cycle
• Prepare the financial and management reports on regular basis
• Support on financial and business analysis for brand management on business decisions
• Control operation expenses and seek for areas of savings, efficiency and productivity improvement.
• Retail analysis – sales, stock coverage, and door productivity
• Manage day-to day financial activities of the brand
• Control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
• Appropriate and proactive participation in ensuring adherence to policies, compliance requirements, and controls

Business Partnering

• Provide financial analysis support on business proposal to assist GM / brand team on business decision.
• Assist GM and Regional on strategic planning and decision process of the brand
• Ensure procedures and internal controls are properly in place, to reinforce the company policy and guidelines through education to brand team
• Provide right information and assist GM on making decision on critical issues
• Identify opportunity for process improvement

We are looking for someone who has:

Work Experience

• Experience in building budget and business analysis
• Previous Retail or FMCG sector experience is preferred
• Experience covered both financial and management accounting
• Experience in business partnering

• Proactive approach to problem solving and willing to offer new suggestions

• Strong can do attitude

Skills

• Excellent analytical skill and strong business commercial sense.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (AX) is advantageous
• Strong numerical, organizational, and PC skills (including Microsoft Excel)

Knowledge

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
• CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years post qualification experience

• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (AX) is advantageous

• Strong numerical, organizational, and PC skills (including Microsoft Excel)
