Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Client Development Senior Manager to join the Corporate Client Development team in New York. Reporting to the Director of Client Development, this role will lead retail-focused client development activities across the zone. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of all client development tools, including ICON, Wardrobing, and Salesforce. They will refine team selling behaviors, focusing on client recruitment, retention, and elevation to drive zone-wide client development and top-line sales results. Additionally, the role involves integrating new technologies and workflows into existing business practices and effectively communicating these strategies throughout the organizational hierarchy.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Team Coaching/Training
- Lead invention of programs and structures that ensure core Client Development (CD) mindset and skillset in store team – focused on building client loyalty
- Drive Client Development competencies across all levels of retail (coaching, recruiting, resources (i.e. ICON), onboarding etc.)
- Build training programs that specifically target strengths and opportunities in ensuring Client Development a part of daily store business culture
- Facilitate all “Train the Trainer” sessions for new programs for and Regional Teams
- Continuously update and enhance training materials and methodology as needed
- Collaborate with Retail Learning field coaches on opportunities to re-enforce Client Development message to store teams
- Regular communication with Retail Client Development on region specific training opportunities
Responsabilità del ruolo
Client Culture
- Set expectations with CD team for client outreach and engagement (including appointments) and motivate stores to achieve them
- Collect and share best practices and success stories across all programs
- Work with CD Director to align on store leadership/market opportunities to refine Clienteling culture/behaviors and introduce curated support programming in partnership with Client Relations and Retail Learning
- Ensure store managers are the leaders in driving the appointment culture in the stores
- Leverage reporting to drive % of sales and RR to meet targets
- Work with CD coordinator to create outreach collateral (email templates, images, videos, etc.) for stores to drive cross selling and appointments
Regional Action Support and Program Adoption
- Regular, consistent travel to regions and stores
- Execute region and store specific plans to level set team skill set identifying key areas of improvements
- Create development plans on specific CD challenges incorporating performance and follow up benchmarks
- Create detailed post mortems on region/store performance allowing for customized support follow up
- Be voice of the stores in development of key programs and resources
- Collaborate with CD team on programs under development to ensure maximum potential for success
- Develop monthly quarterly plan on all major CD initiatives with adoption status and next steps
Profilo
The ideal candidate will have experience in Client Development or a related field, along with a strong coaching background and retail experience focused on fostering and growing client relationships. The candidate should be adept at building strong relationships across all levels of the business with a client-centric mindset. Proficiency in Excel, including creating formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and using MS Query, is required. The candidate should be an enthusiastic team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of working closely with internal stakeholders to train and motivate teams. Knowledge of the French language is a plus.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within USD $150,000- 160,000 annually, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discounts/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

This position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
