Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Data & AI Project Manager to join our Data & AI Office.

Reporting to our “Head of Data Strategy”, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the portfolio of data/AI projects
  • Coordinating the delivery of AI use cases, from ideation to launch and continuous improvement

 

The ideal candidate will blend strategic vision with technical acumen to drive AI use case development, and spearhead initiatives that enhance our data capabilities and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

 

Vision and Strategy

  • With the Head of Data Strategy & Growth, identify strategic opportunities where data can drive significant business impact
  • Identify and prioritize data use cases, aligning with Business Partners (CRM, e-Commerce, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, etc.), Markets, and our IT department, that generate substantial value
  • Partner with all stakeholders to define KPIs and ensure a consistent, accurate measurement across all initiatives

 

Product Vision around Data (incl. AI and GenAI)

  • Own the Data-product vision, in partnership with markets & business partners
  • Own the backlog of data/AI use cases (incl. GenAI use cases and data partnerships)
  • Ensure that the value delivered aligns with expectations

 

Delivery & coordination of key stakeholders

  • Drive the framing of data/AI/GenAI use cases, and follow-up on the value created
  • In particular, work closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Oversee execution and use cases delivery
  • Monitor product performance post-launch working hand in hand with Data analysts
  • Facilitate project governance, ensuring adherence to agile principles to maximize efficiency in delivery
  • Foresee risks and escalate alerts as necessary to management
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

 

Academic Background & Professional Experience

  • Graduated from a top-tier Engineering or Business School
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in roles focusing on Data, ideally gained within Retail, Luxury Goods or Management Consulting
  • Experience in strategy consulting highly appreciated
  • Experience in an international environment highly appreciated
  • Proven track record of successfully managing / delivering Data/AI use cases

 

Expected Skills

  • Strategic thinker with an innovative mindset who enjoys solving complex problems
  • Detail-oriented planner who maintains focus on deliverables without losing sight of the big picture
  • Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work closely with business unit leaders and team members, with strong empathy and creative problem-solving skills
  • Understanding Machine Learning concepts, big data ecosystems, Cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in delivering data use cases using Agile methodologies
  • Solid project management skills (framing, analytical rigor, etc.)

 

Linguistic Competencies

  • Proficiency in English (working language) and French are required
  • Additional languages are an asset
