The Strategy & Business Planning Sr. Analyst will support the Strategy & Business Planning Senior Director in providing critical analysis of the Hennessy brand to ensure long-term growth and that strategic brand goals can be achieved.

Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office

Responsabilità del ruolo

Analysis & Presentations

  • Contribute to brand strategy and solve critical business challenges by conducting rigorous, quantitative business analysis covering a variety of topics including sales, market trends, competition, and consumer behavior.
  • Develop and monitor monthly Hennessy brand performance and provide Maison & MHUSA Leadership with detailed monthly analysis of the brand performance, outlining issues and opportunities.
  • Create exciting and compelling presentations for senior leadership that are well constructed with clear insights and actionable next steps (Business reviews, Maison presentations…)
  • Lead & Present Monthly Business Review Presentations to Maisons Leadership (CMO, International Commercial Director, Maison Marketing Leads)

Contribution to the Go-to Market Strategy for new Innovations

  • Contribute to the go-to-market strategy for new Innovations (Products, Limited Edition etc.) by conducting competitive research and building forecasting models and pricing scenarios
  • Deliver insights and make recommendations on distribution and channel opportunity

Project Management

  • Lead the Hennessy Cube, a tool that assesses the impact of BTL marketing activations on business performance
  • Manage weekly meetings with project team (10 people) to develop the tool, prepare business requirement document and project tracker, ensure stakeholder follow-through
  • Lead all communications with agencies on data collection and with IT on tool development
  • Prepare all deliverables including training materials, presentations, launch plan etc.
Organization:
  • Become a respected player within MHUSA and work closely with departments of BI, Commercial Management, Operations and Finance
  • Develop a strong sense of market dynamics through training and analysis.
  • Work effectively in US Market / Global Maison / Commercial Regional team matrix organization

Profilo

Education:

Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.

Professional Experience & Skills:

2-4 years of experience in business analysis/finance/business intelligence

Practical/Technical Knowledge

  • Excellent analytical and interpretative skills
  • Proven excellency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with large data sets and learning internal database systems
  • Thrive in fast pace environment
  • Knowledge of consumer panels: IRI, Nielsen
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization/project management capabilities with ability to work autonomously
  • Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or within a large team
