Reporting to: PR & Events Director

 

Position Purpose:

The Events and Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing, implementing and executing all Sephora Middle East Events and Experiential Marketing Moments in the region. She./He will be responsible for liaising with all stakeholders (internal and external), agencies and Sephora teams to successfully execute, measure and project manage the full 360 of all events and experiences during the year.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define, plan and execute full year events and experiences calendar for Sephora Middle East.
  • Align all planning and execution linked to business objectives defined by key thematics, KCPs and key moments throughout the year.
  • Manage all aspects of events/ project productions including all pre-production logistics and onsite execution.
  • Liaise and lead with all key stakeholders, including and not limited to internal and global Sephora teams, suppliers, agencies, brands and external entities to ensure the smooth process and facilitation of all events and projects.
  • Build clear workback and planning around all key event requirements and legal permit regulations as aligned with the country/ government authorities as required.
  • Provide due diligence and follow-up on all planning, logistical and budgeting facilitation to ensure all events and experiences are as per business requirements across venue, key supplier selection, and customer experience.
  • Oversee all project planning and 360 team liaising to ensure smooth and efficient running and execution.
  • Ensure all post event analysis and reporting is done in a timely and coordinated manner to ensure all post event metrics are measured, addressed and re-evaluated for optimized performance and brand statement.
  • Lead on all contract negotiation together with procurement and legal for all events and experiences in order to align all event needs and requirements with business objectives and timelines.
  • Create and own all production timelines to ensure all stakeholder requirements and business requirements are met.
  • Assess and identify key opportunities for event sponsorships and activations as required.

 

Budget and Regulatory

  • Maintain clear, consistent and accurate documentation across all phases of production.
  • Oversee events budgetary requirements, including all necessary risk assessment and troubleshooting as required.
  • Planning yearly budget as per events and experience calendar ensures optimization and uncompromised quality across all projects.
  • Manage all administrative duties including all financial project milestones for consistency and planning.

  • Arabic and English mandatory.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience of PR/Events either agency or client side. Managerial experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels.
  • Experience necessary in a media, beauty, or retail environment (knowledge of beauty sector would be a plus).
  • Willing and able to travel in the region.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized.
  • Able adapt him/herself to any situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong data analytical skills- curiosity to work with new tools and able to derive key strategic decisions.
  • Responsiveness and ability to manage multiple actions at once.
  • A creative mind partnered with the ability to find the best practical solutions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key people / influencers or organizations.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation.
