This position reports directly to the Managing Director as part of the Retail team of Bulgari UK, based at Head Office. The main objective of the Retail Merchandising is to ensure a focused and cohesive product assortment in Bulgari's stores within the UK, optimising stock, driving sales and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market and Product Knowledge

• Analyze competitor trends, market dynamics, and pricing strategies within the luxury jewelry, watches, and accessories sectors.
• Monitor sales performance through both quantitative analyses and qualitative feedback gathered from retail teams and customer interactions.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify business opportunities, assess potential risks, and understand customer preferences.
• Develop actionable plans in close collaboration with Retail, Training, Customer Service, Product Categories, and HQ teams to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
• Conduct regular store visits, dedicating time in-store to gain first-hand insights.
• Work closely with the Central Merchandising and Supply chain to refine and update sales forecasts based on market trends and product performance data.
• Serve as the key liaison between stores and product category teams, fostering transparency and effective communication.
• Work with F&A Team in: - Buy-Back - Rebalancing - Seasonal Store Closing - Urgent and Intercompany Sales and ad-hoc activities to optimize Stock and relevant Costs.


2. Inventory Management & Optimization

• Collaborate in defining the OTB budget for stores, aligning with the company's strategy, regional guidelines, and stock level objectives for the current year.
• Monitor and control orders and replenishment, ensuring adherence to budgeted stock levels and maximizing inventory efficiency.
• Propose a buying strategy and support physical stores in their buying decisions to ensure a curated and relevant product offering that meets customer needs and strengthens store
identities. This involves balancing new arrivals with bestsellers, considering assortments, product zoning and slow rotating items.
• Update product zoning plan and assortments as needed, proposing adjustments based on sales data, regional requirements, and logistical considerations.
• Collaborate with the Demand and Supply Planner to optimize stock management for auto-replenishment product categories.
• Work with F&A Team in: - Buy-Back - Rebalancing - Seasonal Store Closing - Urgent and Intercompany Sales and ad-hoc activities to optimize Stock and relevant Costs.


3. Product Animation & Visual Merchandising

• Verify delivery and availability of new product launches in all stores in coordination with the Demand and Supply Planner, and collaborate with the Training team, Visual Merchandiser, E-commerce, and Marketing to ensure successful launches.
• Work closely with the Visual Merchandiser to optimise product visibility and ensure products receive appropriate exposure in-store displays and window presentations.
• Contribute to the definition of a comprehensive product animation plan in collaboration with the Retail, Training, E-commerce, and Marketing teams, creating engaging experiences for sales teams and driving sales in targeted product categories.
• Maximize opportunities to optimize stock allocation across the business to minimize the financial impact of depreciating goods.

Votre profil

Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in retail merchandising/planning within a luxury retail environment.


• Highly analytical with exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Commercially aware with a passion for luxury goods and the Bulgari brand.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Influential, entrepreneurial and pedagogical in their approach.
• Detailed in analyses but synthetic and action-focused when sharing with others.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
