The Industrial Controller is a newly established position within the Finance department, supporting the Head of Finance in building and leading financial operations specific to the industrial segment of a luxury brand. This pioneering role is designed to forge financial strategies that align with production excellence and corporate goals, ensuring sustainable growth in the high-end market.

The Industrial Controller reports to the Head of Finance.

Les missions

  1. Strategic Financial System Development: Support in establishing robust financial systems and processes for industrial operations from the ground up, integrating them with existing corporate finance structures.
  2. Costing System Implementation: Support in designing and implementing a cost accounting and controlling system that captures all elements of production costs with precision while facilitating analysis for cost-saving opportunities without compromising luxury standards.
  3. Comprehensive Financial Oversight: Support in managing all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and accounting for both corporate finances and industrial operations.
  4. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow regularly to ensure liquidity for operations while optimizing investment opportunities.
  5. Budget Creation & Financial Planning: Develop initial budgets and financial plans, that encompass both industrial operations and broader corporate objectives. Set benchmarks for cost management.
  6. Performance Metrics & Reporting Frameworks: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reporting frameworks to measure efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all department activities.
  7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the different departments to ensure integrated financial planning that supports operational objectives.
  8. Financial Analysis & Strategic Support: Build actual and forecast P&L and produce analysis focusing on inventory, margin and costs. Build monthly reporting, perform variance analysis between budget and actual.
  9. Compliance & Control Environment Setup: Support in laying down a framework for compliance, establishing an internal control environment specifically suited for industrial finance operations in compliance with LVMH Internal Control.
  10. Capital Expenditure Evaluation: Evaluate capital expenditure proposals related to industrial equipment from a financial perspective.
  11. Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Drive change management initiatives as new systems are introduced; foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function and the whole organization, particularly regarding cost efficiency without sacrificing product excellence.
  12. Cost Reduction & Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to reduce costs through lean manufacturing principles, procurement strategies, and operational efficiencies while upholding luxury standards.
  • Technology Utilization & Team Development: Leverage cutting-edge technology solutions tailored to both corporate finance functions and industrial production needs.

Votre profil

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required;
  • Experience within Finance department of multinational company
  • Possess sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and IFRS principles
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes alongside expertise in finance principles.
  • Demonstrated ability at implementing ERP systems or other technology solutions in an industrial setting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills necessary for crafting detailed reports.
  • Solid communication abilities essential for cross-functional integration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities, proactivity and strategic thinking
  • International experiences highly preferred
  • Fluent in English
