In Fendi, Retail Excellence drives Operations and Performance with an impact driven, positive and growth mindset. As the Retail Excellence & Training Director for Southeast Asia & Australia, you will spearhead retail performance, operations efficiency, and excellence in learning initiatives across the region. Partnering closely with country retail heads, store management and HQ functional teams, your mission is to elevate operational and performance standards, strengthen brand and product knowledge to enhance selling and client journey skills.

 

This role is critical in implementing direct retail strategy, driving high-end positioning and business growth across stores by optimizing existing store performance, and refining retail operations. Your leadership will ensure a seamless blend of operational excellence and luxury client experience, aligning with FENDI’s brand and culture vision. You will report directly to the President of Southeast Asia & Australia and oversee direct regional reports of Retail Operations, Retail Training, and country specific Retail Excellence function.

Retail Performance

Performance Optimization and Action Planning:

  • Define, analyze and challenge key performance indicators (KPls) that directly impact operational efficiency and financial performance of SEAA Retail business
  • Collaborate with Retail/Store Leaders to establish performance targets and develop action plans tailored to top doors and boutiques, in accordance with WW Retail Excellence guidelines
  • Partner with CRM in the analysis of retail activations and their sales impact in SEAA, propose clienteling initiatives to drive performance
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to identify growth opportunities and business challenges during launch and execution phases; partner on business action planning and performance tracking

 

Data Analytics and Performance Monitoring:

  • Leverage data analytics tools to monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales data, inventory turnover, conversion rates, and other operational indicators
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity within the data to drive performance improvements and inform decision-making at the regional level 
  • Design & implement performance-related tools to optimize clienteling efforts
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards to provide visibility into Retail performance within the region

 

Retail Operations & Training

  •  Monitor & drive operational performance of all stores inclusive of inventory flows and accuracy, team productivity, store organization through partnership with related teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and initiatives that enhance regional Retail performance and cost efficiency with suppliers
  • Partner with Internal Control to ensure store compliance in retail execution in line with Fendi Internal Control guidelines. Prepare stores for periodical audits, review and follow up
  • Review local store projects including store expansions and renovations, ensuring back of house and front of house layout optimizes retail efficiency
  • Lead initiatives to improve retail workflow, including store logistics, delivery schedules, stock movements, and overall operational agility in partnership with Supply Chain
  • Drive Retail Training to build consistent, relevant and effective development tools and coaching methodologies for store teams to ensure excellent retail execution capabilities and adoption of Fendi client journey elevated standards across the network

Votre profil

  • 10+ years of relevant experience managing retail performance, with a strong operations background; Luxury beauty or fashion store experience a plus
  • Possess a positive mindset, energy and passion for excellence
  • Strong business acumen and result orientation to drive needed initiatives and demonstrate commercial creativity
  • Effective leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire people and action planning
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to drive alignment with department heads and global stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit to support analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Retail KPIs, P&L management, and operational standards.
