As part of its strong development, LVMH Métiers d'Art is seeking a controller manager with extensive expertise in industrial management control.

Reporting to LVMH Métiers d'Art's  Head of financial planning and analysis, the controller manager will engage in daily and monthly financial monitoring, budget preparation, and financial planning, as well as participate in various financial and extra-financial projects.

Les missions

The controller manager will serve as a strategic business partner, providing critical financial oversight and operational support to the Métiers in a dynamic environment.

Controlling:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to entities, leveraging a transversal vision to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enhance analytical dimensions in newly integrated entities within MdA.
  • Review and support to harmonize the costing methods, stock valuation, and controlling methodologies.
  • Standardize industrial variances, monitor action plans, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • Coordinate comprehensive reporting activities, focusing on revenue, costs, capex, and key operational indicators, to provide performance insights for MDA Management.

Financial Reporting & Activity Monitoring:

  • Participate in monthly and annual closing operations.
  • Optimize the production and presentation of monthly reports by preparing comprehensive monthly activity notes, along with quarterly and annual financial report.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow and Capex trends, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Budget and Strategic Planning:

  • Participate in the budget process (including revisions), including the preparation (memo to be prepared) and presentation of reports.
  • Assist entities in developing robust multi-year business plans and scenarios.
  • Create financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and business development.
  • Integrate eco-transformation decisions into financial projections, emphasizing the impact of carbon footprint reduction projects.

Various Projects:

  • Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and monitoring at both Métiers and headquarters levels.
  • Drive productivity and industrial efficiency projects, ensuring alignment with Métiers d’Art strategic goals.
  • Enhance decision-making tools for measuring industrial performance leveraging BI tools.
  • Ensure data reliability and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and visibility especially through the evolution of information systems.

Votre profil

  • Master’s degree in business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional background, including in-depth experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally complemented by auditing experience.
  • Deep understanding of BOM, routing, and standard costing methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in financial data manipulation and information systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven track record of providing strategic financial guidance and raising alerts to management.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial insights and strategic recommendations clearly.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Italian and/or Spanish is a plus.
