SENIOR DIRECTOR OF SALES

 

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Senior Director of Sales, Optical who will play a key role, responsible for driving sales strategies, managing a high-performing team, and overseeing the growth and profitability of the Optical Sales department. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to achieve revenue goals, develop key partnerships, and enhance market presence.

Sales and Operations

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive growth and market share in the optical industry.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Regional Sales Managers and broader sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and overall business performance.
  • Establish and achieve sales targets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals while maintaining profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee performance of sales and profit KPIs to ensure alignment with budget objectives, and drive strategic initiatives to support target achievement.
  • Monitor reporting, market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Partner with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with company-wide goals and ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and ROI.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Leadership & Team Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing team through effective recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration across teams.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and other senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Participate in regional meetings and contribute to the development of broader strategic initiatives.

Votre profil

Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or relevant field.

Minimum of 10 years+ of leadership experience in a similar role within the luxury goods industry.

  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in high-performing territories.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, adapting quickly to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; both verbal and written.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.
  • Genuine passion and advocate of diversity and inclusion and integrates this mentality when making all business decisions (both internal & external).

Informations complémentaires

The hiring range for this position ranges from $225,000 - $250,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience. In addition to the base salary, there are opportunities to earn additional performance-based incentives, offering significant additional earning potential.
