The Director, Customer Replenishment and S&OP drives excellence in planning and execution for the downstream Supply Chain, ensuring seamless flow of information and goods from MHUSA Operations team to Distributors and MHUSA commercial team.
From Planning to Execution, this role is key to MHUSA Operations to deliver an excellent service level to our customers, and to continue our transformation journey towards an integrated supply chain
Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office
Les missions
Lead the downstream S&OP & Replenishment teams
- Drives Vision and Purpose, to secure understanding, support and commitment towards the company and department goals.
- Drive performance and excellence in planning and execution through ambitious objectives settings and progress tracking.
- Lead a team of 8, with profiles ranging from Analyst to Sr Manager.
- Develop Talents, through coaching, feedback, exposure, stretch assignments, career paths and formal trainings.
- Recruit the best in class talents for MHUSA and LVMH.
Drive downstream supply chain mindset towards collaboration and operational excellence
- Look at priorities, constraints and impacts in a holistic manner, to drive decisions and actions that results in global supply chain optimization.
- Foster ongoing collaboration between MHUSA commercial team, Distributors team and MHUSA downstream team to best tie actions and innovations to the company’s goals and vision.
- Champion initiatives increasing the level of integration (information, processes) with internal and external stakeholders, especially when it comes with synergy efforts with key distributors.
Lead the collaborative S&OP process with Distributors:
- Drive the collaboration of S&OP with Distributors and MHUSA commercial team to ensure alignment on sell-through forecast.
- Oversees the Machine-Learning forecast generation, performance and adoption, to provide an accurate data-driven input to Commercial teams for the sell-through forecast. Collaborate with Data science team to improve the model.
- Continue to lead design (for new customers), implementation, homogenization & continuous improvement of S&OP processes and team.
Lead the collaborative replenishment process
- Oversee and direct the replenishment team to ensure the right product gets to the right market at the right time with excellent and clear communication to customers.
- Deliver best-in-class customer service. Efficient tracking of service level, root causing and action planning is a critical element.
- Lead the continued replenishment model transformation into a demand-driven and collaborative logic.
Steer the Sell-in execution and the Distributor inventory levels:
- Manage the monthly projection of sell-in and Distributors’ inventory coverage, and monitor performance.
- Lead and drive the landing processes, in coordination with Finance Planning team, and make recommendations for arbitration of volumes when necessary.
Performance Reporting & Analysis
- Implement the right control tower & KPI to monitor and optimize the performance, and fuel data-driven decision-making.
Project, transformation and continuous improvement
- Contribute to the design and implementation of MH global Integrated Business planning as it relates to execution components.
- Continuous improvement & Ad Hoc projects: monitor best practices (LVMH, within or outside Wine & Spirit industry, Distributors) to drive internal and external process improvements
- Drive efficiency through automation and IT system evolution
Votre profil
Education:
Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
Professional Experience & Skills:
- 10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience, preferably in a luxury environment / wine & spirits industry.
- Knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, order-to-cash process.
- Successful experience in leading and developing teams.
- Client-oriented mindset.
- Excel at collaborating and balancing stakeholders. Able to work with all levels of the organization and to adapt to various work styles.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Highly adaptable / agile to accept new ideas, people and procedures. Drives change, implement new ways of working to meet evolving requirements. Experience in leading transformation.
- Able to work with limited direction, setting and adjusting priorities independently.
- Advanced analytical skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent systems & process knowledge,
- Problem solving and continuous improvement skill.
- Working knowledge of French is a plus.
