Founded in Reims in 1772, Veuve Clicquot perpetuates the memory of Madame Clicquot who, after taking on the family business in 1805 at the age of just 27, became one of the first businesswomen of the modern age.
Her visionary spirit revolutionized the way champagne was made, and harnessed the Pinot Noir as the signature grape of Veuve Clicquot champagnes.

THE ART OF PINOT NOIR
Take a tour of the estate with the Maison’s winegrowers and ambassadors. Discover Pinot Noir, the exacting techniques required to look after the vines and the sustainable winegrowing practices behind Veuve Clicquot’s excellent vintages. Explore the vegetable garden, developed in accordance with permaculture techniques by the Maison’s winegrowers.
