Senior corporate appointment for India, South East Asia & Middle East – Appointment at Sephora
LVMH Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton announces the appointment of Ravi Thakran as Group Director India, South East Asia & Middle East. Ravi Thakran will also be Groupe Arnault’s Representative in the region. He will be based in Singapore.
In addition to his group-wide responsibilities, Ravi Thakran will conduct operational missions to drive Sephora’s development in the region as President of Sephora, India & South East Asia.
Ravi Thakran holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad. He began his career within the marketing department of Procter & Gamble in India and subsequently held a variety of business and marketing positions, including roles for the Tata, Swatch and Nike groups in Asia. In 2001, Ravi joined LVMH’s Watches & Jewelry for South East Asia. In 2003, he was named Regional Managing Director Watches & Jewelry Asia. Last year, he was appointed Group Representative Director for India, while retaining regional responsibilities for the Watches & Jewelry Division.
