A fusion of bodies, designs and emotion for Fendi Spring-Summer 2027 collection

The silhouettes created by Maria Grazia Chiuri were presented from every angle in a hall or mirrors. The creative director channels the desires of contemporary bodies through their strength and fragility, mixing feminine and masculine. 

“I like my body when it is with your body.” E. E. Cummings’ famous poem set the stage for the latest Fendi collection, where each look is infused with scintillating sensuality. The Fendi Women draws inspiration from the storied stage dress and independent spirit of Italian singer Raffaella Carrà. Undergarments come to the fore, concealing to better reveal. Lace, embroidery and a rich color palette embrace the body like a second skin. Liberated from the boudoir, underwear mixes with fur caressing the neck.   

Different lengths and iterations of materials highlight transparent, matte or glossy effects. Animal prints and velvet become as light as silk. Every detail melds subtly with the body, from a jeweled neckline to stockings worn with pumps or Baguette bags. Daytime pajamas and dressing gowns are reimagined as party-ready outfits, transcending rules and ignoring convention. Like a second skin, the clothes celebrate emotion.
