LVMH brings its recruitment and vocational orientation event to Lille on Wednesday, February 26, inviting future talented employees to discover employment opportunities and the Group's 280 highly-skilled Métiers d’Excellence professions.

Lille has France's second-largest student population and is the administrative capital of France's Haut-de-France region, which has the second-youngest population in the country.

During the Lille stop of the tour at the Cité des Échanges convention and event center, visitors will have a chance to learn about skilled professions in leatherworking (Louis Vuitton), couture (Louis Vuitton), bottle sealing (Hennessy) and different customer experience métiers (Louis Vuitton, Sephora, Parfums Christian Dior).

For the first time, independent local artisans who are suppliers of the LVMH Group are part of the event, sharing their passion and exceptional expertise, in partnership with the Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français. They include Hannah Levesque, a designer and paper artist known for intricate architectural miniatures, whose  Maquettes d’Emotions workshop is located in Lille.

The event will be inaugurated by Lille mayor Martine Aubry, Marc-Antoine Jamet, General Secretary of the LVMH Group and Alexandre Boquel, Director of Métiers d’Excellence LVMH.

LVMH works closely with numerous local partners in this region,  a cradle of the LVMH Group and home to an array of exceptional skills, notably in textiles. LVMH has an extensive presence in the Hauts-de-France, counting six workshops and 17 stores, reflecting the Group's deep roots and commitment to supporting the region's dynamic economic momentum.

In addition to passing on exceptional skills, LVMH also supports reskilling, in particular through the L’Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi (LIVE) employment support initiative in the city of Roubaix. This program helps adults over 25 years old to develop new career paths.

The You & ME Tour continues in France at Clichy-sous-Bois on March 7 before traveling to Italy, with events in Rome on March 20 and Florence on April 4-5.
