LVMH honors savoir-faire's virtuosos and next-gen talents at the "Rencontres des Métiers d’Excellence"

This Wednesday, November 19th and Thursday, November 20th, the “Rencontres des Métiers d'Excellence” are being held. Comprising three successive events, these encounters highlight the professions of Creation, Craftsmanship, and Customer Experience, and their essential role in the world of luxury. They bring together the Virtuosos and graduates of the “Institut des Métiers d’Excellence” to showcase their exceptional expertise.

The excellence and desirability of LVMH group Maisons spring from the remarkable skills in the Creative, Craft and Customer Experience professions that together comprise the LVMH Métiers d’Excellence. Through these Métiers d’Excellence, LVMH has since 2014 worked to preserve and pass on the unique intangible heritage of its Maisons, ensuring their enduring success. These exceptional events on Wednesday and Thursday are an opportunity for the entire LVMH Group to celebrate the talented people who practice these remarkable métiers.

To honor these exceptional talents and their savoir-faire, the Rencontres des Métiers d’Excellence have been conceived as a moment of sharing and passing on expertise across three special events that affirm, embody and celebrate skills that are strategic to the development of LVMH’s different Maisons.

Cérémonie des Savoir-Faire – November 19, 2025 

The inaugural ceremony pays tribute to the exceptional skills and remarkable careers that embody excellence throughout the LVMH Group. The ceremony will in particular celebrate the class of 2025 Virtuosos. The evening spotlights the initiatives of the Métiers d’Excellence within the Maisons, illustrated by testimonials from CE0s, Creative Directors and HR directors.   

During the ceremony, the 2025 Virtuosos were presented with brooches designed this year by Victoire de Castellane for Dior Joaillerie. These decorations recognize exceptional talents in each of the Group’s six business sectors.  

Ateliers des Savoir-Faire – November 20, 2025

The second event is a day-long immersion dedicated to talents from the Group and its Maisons, partners of the Maison des Métiers d’Excellence LVMH project, which will open in 2027 in Paris. Participants will have a firsthand preview of the workshops and masterclasses to be offered at the future facility, which will welcome all segments of the public. This groundbreaking hub of exchanges and practical experience embodies the vocation of LVMH Métiers d’Excellence: Transmit, Value and Reveal.

Nuit des Lauréats  (Graduation Ceremony) – November 20, 2025 

The “Nuit des Lauréats”, a festive and unifying closing event of these Rencontres des Métiers d’Excellence, celebrates graduates of the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence. This full-fledged graduation ceremony pays tribute to the commitment and talent of the latest cohort, looking back on highlights from their year of training at LVMH Maisons and partner schools.

Through these Rencontres des Métiers d’Excellence, LVMH resolutely reaffirms its goal of celebrating excellence, sharing a passion for savoir-faire, and highlighting the diversity of talents who will ensure that the future of luxury continues to shine brightly.  

 n conjunction with the commitments showcased during the event, LVMH unveiled “A Journey to the Heart of Excellence” a compelling documentary directed by Vasken Toranian. The film pays tribute to the people who embody passion, creativity and efforts to preserve and pass on these exceptional skills across the world. It has been available for streaming since November 19 on the France TV platform and the LVMH YouTube channel.
