Continuing a shared commitment to craft excellence and helping skilled artisans practice their trade, Louis Vuitton and La Fabrique NOMADE have announced a unique range of limited edition coffrets.
Crafted by two Ukrainian refugees who are skilled embroiderers, the cases feature embroidered interpretations of Louis Vuitton’s whimsical mascot Vivienne. Assembled in the Asnières workshops, the coffrets are the fruit of a four-month internship during which the artisans from La Fabrique Nomade program developed their savoir-faire in close liaison with the Maison’s creative teams.
The limited edition will be launched at Cheval Blanc Paris from September 26 to October 6 during the “Savoir-Rêver” event, as well as in Singapore and Seoul. Beyond the creative endeavor, this project provides a tremendous vocational springboard for the embroiderers, boosting both their skills and their self-confidence.
Louis Vuitton has been working with La Fabrique NOMADE since 2019, supporting the non-profit through donations of materials, training during masterclasses with the Maison’s experts, job coaching sessions and training led by the head of its High Jewelry workshop. This partnership helps artisans develop their skills and innovate thanks to dialogue with Louis Vuitton designers, who themselves benefit from these mutually enriching and inspiring exchanges.
