Louis Vuitton unveils 'Escale en Amazonie' pocket watch

Louis Vuitton presented the exceptional Escale en Amazonie pocket watch during Watch Week 2025 in Miami, showcasing the Maison’s watchmaking savoir-faire and breathtaking Métiers d’art craft expertise through a poetic take on the Amazon rainforest.
Entirely handcrafted, the timepiece captures a magical moment in a scene featuring monkeys, parrots, snakes and Louis Vuitton trunks in the heart of a luxuriant environment. Paillonné and miniature enamel techniques, micro-sculpture, engraving and exquisite gemsetting all come together with meticulous artistry. The combination infuses the landscape with movement and depth, heightened by 60 emeralds, tsavorites, tourmaline and yellow sapphires set around the glass.
The engraving and enamel work on the dial reveal a sublime mastery of horological métiers d’art. The 18K white gold case, engraved on the side, houses an LFT AU14.03 calibre with a virtuoso automata and minute repeater – certified Poinçon de Genève, the mark of technical quality and artisanal excellence.
