During the maternity leave of the current Controlling Manager, for our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for a:

 

Controlling Manager

 

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

 

  • Manage the daily business in close collaboration with the Finance Director
  • Be a strong sparring-partner for the Finance Director, our internal departments and closely collaborate with our European HQ
  • Be responsible for full P&L management (sales and cost controlling) for our retail and web businesses in Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia
  • Assure the preparation and monitoring of budget and revisions (including Cash and B/S forecasts) and closely follow up with budget owners
  • Consolidate countries to total HUB level
  • Standardize and enhance controlling processes with the HUB
  • Prepare ad-hoc requests
  • Prepare, analyze and present weekly & monthly reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Manage and control monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Contact person for auditors for all controlling questions
  • Manage a team of ~4 controllers and work in close collaboration with the Controlling Project Manager

  • Hold a master degree in business economics with major in finance & controlling
  • Have profound professional experience in the field of Controlling of at least 8 years, preferably in a retail environment
  • Have knowledge and experience in monthly and yearly closing regarding the guidelines of HGB & IFRS
  • Are highly skilled in the application and use of excel
  • Are SAP experienced
  • Have profound Knowledge with Microsoft Office
  • Are fluent in English (written and verbal), German & French is a plus
  • Show a high degree of self-initiative
  • Have the ability to cope with stress
  • Are flexibile & have a strong hands-on mindset
  • Have strong analytical & communication skills
  • Have experience in multiple Stakehoder-Management
  • Have several years of experience in people management
