Position

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Manager, Social Media and Innovation who will lead holistic paid social media strategy in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the social media landscape, emerging digital trends, campaign management and application for luxury brands.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all paid social campaign performance, optimization and budget management across multiple campaigns and platforms, to ensure all campaign KPIs are met
  • Issue all campaign briefs, review media plans, execute cross-platform campaigns, and analyze results for all paid social initiatives
  • Foster strong relationships and lead negotiations with all social platform partners (e.g., TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube) to receive first access to new technologies and innovative ad products
  • Serve as main point of contact for social agency, ensuring they have a strong understanding of brand DNA and business objectives to ensure all proposals deliver on KPIs
  • Partner with HQ social media team to ensure that global campaigns and objectives resonate in local zone
  • Ideate, pitch to local and global leadership, and lead execution of large-scale, first-to-market social projects in the Americas
  • Possess a strong understanding of the social media landscape, competitive behaviors, and emerging trends to ensure ads and strategies consistently drive relevance and impact in an ever-changing field
  • Serve as functional middleman between global production team and zone for local events (e.g., pop ups, exhibits, new store openings)
  • Collaborate with internal local and global teams (e.g., E-Commerce, Creative, Events, Merchandising, PR, Talent) and external agencies (e.g. Social Listening) to ensure social strategy achieves business goals on a 360-degree level
  • Spearhead LVA’s creator sponsorships, working directly with social partners to identify platform-specific influencers; work with internal talent team on go-to-market strategy
  • Compile executive recaps and presentations to share with local and global leadership
  • Manage and oversee development of Social Media Coordinator

 

Profile

The ideal candidate will be a solution-oriented, strategic thinker with proven experience driving positive business results across social media campaigns. Experience with social media ad management tools and analytics is required.  Must have prior experience managing budgets and billing processes.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $120K-$125K, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
