20 semifinalist designers shortlisted for LVMH Prize in Paris

With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, LVMH hosted a showroom on March 1st and 2nd for the fifth edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. The 20 designers shortlisted for the semifinal round presented their creations to a panel of experts who will choose the finalists, joined for the first time by Bella Hadid.

For two days LVMH headquarters at 22 avenue Montaigne in Paris was transformed into a buzzing showroom featuring the 20 designers shortlisted for the fifth edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. Selected from more than 1,300 applicants around the world, these young talents showed their creations to a panel of experts comprising fashion professionals, photographers, journalists and top models

Among the fashion designers selected to content for this year’s LVMH Prize, eight are presenting fashions for women, four menswear, six unisex creations and two both men’s and women’s looks.

Now a prime event on the Women’s Fall-Winter Fashion Week calendar, the LVMH Prize showroom celebrated young creative talents, culminating in a cocktail reception hosted by Delphine Arnault and attended among others by Karl Lagerfeld (Fendi), Maria Grazia Chiuri (Dior), Humberto Leon (Kenzo), as well as Marine Serre, Simon Porte Jacquemus and Bella Hadid.
