All-digital Village des Métiers d’Excellence LVMH vocational trade fair welcomes candidates for 400 apprenticeship contracts in fall 2021

The Village des Métiers d’Excellence LVMH, an annual vocational trade fair promoting work-study programs and apprenticeships in creative, craft and retail professions, is pivoting to an all-digital format for the upcoming session on March 12. This sixth edition invites participants – young generations and individuals seeking reskilling opportunities – a chance to discover more than 30 professions with exceptional savoir-faire at LVMH Maisons, and apply for the 400 plus work-study contracts they are offering for fall 2021. This virtual vocational trade fair also provides opportunities to dialogue with experts from LVMH Maisons and partner schools and prepare for key steps in the recruitment process.
Created in 2015, the Village des Métiers d’Excellence takes place early each year, kicking off the recruitment campaign for apprenticeship contracts available at LVMH Maisons in creative, craft and retail professions. Building on its established foundations, the Village des Métiers d’Excellence 2021 adds a new dimension with an online platform that expands the event’s reach to potential candidates across France.
To learn more about unique métiers d’excellence at LVMH and the programs offered by the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence*, talented young people and individuals looking for reskilling opportunities can take part in live discussions with current apprentices, tutors and recruiters at LVMH Maisons, as well as experts from partner schools and universities. There will be special sessions on careers in design, cosmetics formulation, couture, leather goods, jewelry, vineyards and winemaking led by human resources managers and professionals in these fields from LVMH Maisons, joined by specialists from partner schools.
Interested participants can apply for over 400 work-study contracts in these Métiers d’Excellence, spanning creative, craft and retail skills. A special session will center on essential job application skills. Recruitment specialists from LVMH Maisons will share advice and best practices on how to prepare a winning résumé and make a great impression during job interviews.
The digital platform will remain online for a month.
