For more than a century, Bvlgari style has been defined by the unexpected. At Baselworld 2019 the storied Maison once again pushes the boundaries of modern watchmaking with two new exceptional timepieces, the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic and Serpenti Seduttori. Both embody a new Rinascimento, echoing the artistic and cultural Renaissance that began in Italy in the early 14th century.

The new timepieces presented by Bvlgari at Baselworld embody a bold creativity that explores the unique heritage of the Maison. “I call it the Rinascimento from Bvlgari because of our unmatched ability to fuse edgy Italian design with ingenious Swiss expertise,” says Jean-Christophe Babin, Chief Executive Officer of Bvlgari.

The Octo Finissimo reaches a new pinnacle this year, with the thinnest ever mechanical chronograph in watchmaking history, the fifth world record for Bvlgari. The Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic is the quintessence of the Octo collection, a perfect fusion of design and technology in a remarkably thin body, neither round nor square.

With the iconic drop shape of its case, the Bvlgari Serpenti is reinvented to create the thinner than ever Serpenti Seduttori. In pink, yellow and white gold, the Serpenti Seduttori recalls the original Serpenti watches, with a new flexible bracelet and a case crowned with cabochon-cut gemstones, expressing Bvlgari’s high jewelry DNA.

Bvlgari’s bold approach redefines contemporary watchmaking. Anchored in the heritage of the Roman jeweler, the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic and the Serpenti Seduttori embody the Maison’s emblematic style and begin a new chapter in Swiss watchmaking.
