Dior continues to explore the artistic world with the “The Legendary Images. Great Photographers and Dior” exhibition, which opened its doors at the historic museum located in Christian Dior’s childhood home in Granville, Normandy.

The exhibition, held until the 21st of September, will bring together a selection of 200 images by more than 80 masters who have shaped the world of fashion photography and Dior’s iconographic signature as we know it today. The emblematic snapshots by Cecil Beaton, Horst P. Horst, Patrick Demarchelier, Peter Lindbergh and many other cover the period from the mid-20th century to the early 21st century. They will be accompanied by almost 60 haute couture dresses and archival documents illustrating the collaborations between Dior, its artistic directors and the renown photographers.

To celebrate the exposition, Dior has also collaborated with the famed NY-based publishing house Rizzoli to create a lavish collectible volume showcasing the legendary works featured in the exposition.
