Heristoria, the LVMH Group’s online platform for vintage luxury pieces, welcomes spring with a captivating surprise, unveiling its “Time to Bloom” selection of millesime pieces emblematic of the heritage of LVMH Maisons. On the occasion of the Chelsea Flower Show, the “haute couture” event of the horticultural world, Heristoria celebrates the dual themes of flowers and film.

From May 22-28 Heristoria displayed a collection of 30 vintage pieces at The Cadogan hotel in London, representing LVMH’s unique range of savoir-faire in jewelry, watches, fashion and leather goods. In conjunction with the Chelsea Flower Show, this year’s Chelsea in Bloom floral art festival has a cinematic theme. “Our selection was guided by three strong themes: flowers, of course, echoing the Chelsea Flower Show, as well as cinema, in resonance with the theme of Chelsea in Bloom. Both are very present in the history of our partner Maisons, so we’re very lucky! And lastly we wanted a dose of so-British eccentricity, expressed for instance in our bowler hat from the 90s by Patou,” says Heristoria cofounder Laurence Mayer.

Guests discovered a preview of this extraordinary collection in the lobby of The Cadogan, which was transformed into a vintage boudoir for the occasion. They could also see the pieces by appointment in a sumptuous suite. Each piece offered in the Heristoria sale recounts a story. From a 1928 Chaumet art deco brooch in crystal, amethyst and diamonds to a Fendi Baguette bag with daisies created in 2000, the selection is a wondrous journey through the decades. Among the timeless treasures is a FRED Star ring in yellow gold, citrine and diamonds from the collection worn by actress Caterina Murino in the James Bond movie Casino Royale.

To cement their partnership, Heristoria and The Cadogan have also created a unique experience dubbed “The Treasure Hunt Concierge” giving guests a chance to gift exceptional vintage pieces that resonate with an important moment in their lives. Linking objects whose powerful emotional value resonates with the personal stories of guests perfectly embodies the Heristoria ethos of celebrating the past with the present.
