Nicolas Ghesquière has unveiled “Series 4” the new Louis Vuitton advertising campaign for the Spring-Summer 2016 collection. The House innovates once again in this latest chapter, calling on Japanese video game creator Square Enix to join a visual and virtual dialogue with images shot by Juergen Teller and Bruce Weber.

Combative, sensitive, strong and bold – the Louis Vuitton heroine reveals her multiple facets in the new “Series 4” campaign.

The silhouettes shot by Juergen Teller seem to levitate, bathed in light. They feature Korean actress Doona Bae, Louis Vuitton’s new heroine. At the other end of the spectrum, Bruce Weber’s heroine is very down-to-earth, her feet firmly on the ground in an industrial décor in Florida. The haughty vitality of the  “gang of girls” is heightened by actor Jaden Smith, a young hero whose skirt expresses true stylistic freedom.

Yet another striking incarnation in the campaign is Lightning, a new “Series 4” face who explores the possibilities of a heroine flashing through fabulous virtual worlds. The heroic figure in the cult series “Final Fantasy”, a video game created by Square Enix studios, expresses the creative explorations of Louis Vuitton as the Maison pushes the boundaries of reality and dreams.
