Hublot continues to drive forward its unique Art of Fusion at LVMH Watch Week – Dubai 2020, showcasing its cutting-edge expertise with new watches. They include the Big Bang Unico, Spirit of Big Bang Meca-10 and Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic, further strengthening the Maison’s avant-garde positioning: “Be the first, be unique, be different”.
To continually push the boundaries of precision timekeeping Hublot has developed a unique approach to watchmaking called the Art of Fusion. At the first ever event dedicated to LVMH watchmaking manufactures in Dubai this week, Hublot once again spotlighted its talent for innovation with a presentation of striking new timepieces for 2020.
First introduced at Baselworld in 2005, the Big Bang watch embodies the revolutionary fusion of steel, ceramic and rubber. In 2020, to mark the 15th anniversary of this iconic design and its huge success, Hublot has unveiled the Big Bang Unico, the first Big Bang with an integrated metal bracelet fused with the case. This unique timepiece exemplifies the spirit of Hublot with its signature use of ceramic.
In addition to combining innovative materials, Hublot stands out for its quest for the perfect harmony between cases and movements, a requirement elevated by mechanical movements that are almost always visible through transparent dials. To marry the round Meca-10 caliber and the barrel design of the Spirit of Big Bang, Hublot rethought the entire construction of the movement so it would fit perfectly in the new case, both technically and aesthetically. And thus was born the Spirit of Big Bang Meca-10.
With the new Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic, Hublot continues to feature the brightly colored high-tech ceramic it pioneered in 2018. This timepiece reinvents horological performance with a manufacture movement offering a power reserve of 14 days via seven barrels visible from the dial.
