Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is spotlighting brands and their logos in a fun and fascinating exhibition dubbed “Let’s Go Logo!”. The logos of some 130 brands invited to take part are showing reworked and revisited versions of their logos, featured in capsule collections created specially for the event. Here’s a taste of the exhibition, which runs until April 1, 2018 at the famed department store.

Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche invited some 130 designers and major brands to take part in the “Let’s Go Logo!” exhibition. Logos from past and present recount their stories and propose fresh takes on their look throughout every floor in the store.

By giving the brands carte blanche, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche offers the brands a blank canvas for creative reinterpretations in every possible product category. The store’s private labels Le Bon Marché and La Grande Epicerie join the fun too with reinvented logo looks on products that have never before been marketed, including windbreakers, sweatshirts, gym bags, T-shirts, thermos bottles, notebooks, stickers and hats.

Some brand logos have moved onto entirely new products, such as Fred, which proposes a beach towel and panama hat ensemble. Guerlain revisits its iconic bee on a jar of honey from the Maison’s very own beehives.

This fun and cross-cutting exhibition also features special guests Rami Mekdachi, founder of the lifestyle label Lola James Harper, and Virgil Abloh, a finalist in the 2015 edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. In true Left Bank spirit he has created a scenography inspired by Parisian squares and café terraces, joined by a capsule unisex collection of clothes and accessories.

Don’t miss “Let’s Go Logo!” at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche until April 1, 2018.
