The Nuti Ivo SpA Group has long-standing traditions in the manufacturing sector and rightfully joins the select group of international companies that are part of LVMH Métiers d’Art. Founded in 2015, in order to protect, develop and ensure long-term access to raw materials and artisanal savoir-faire on a global level for luxury players, LVMH Métiers d’Art creates value and develops innovative solutions for both entrepreneurs and multiple brands, while ensuring constant management over the process of creating goods from start to finish, ensuring the sustainability of their supply chain.
‘Nuti Ivo S.p.A.’ was founded in Santa Croce sull’Arno in 1955. The brand was born from the dream of Ivo (Nuti), who started the company with only 15 employees. Today, the Group is managed by the second generation of the Nuti family, with four incredible production facilities throughout Italy that employ over 300 people.
The company, thanks to a continuous commitment to research, has introduced numerous technical and procedural innovations to the world of tanning and kept its machinery and structures up to date in accordance with modern technology. Nuti Ivo Group still produces in its Tuscan territory of origin, guaranteeing constant control and monitoring as well as thorough working standards, while exporting 85% of its production abroad. These factors allow Nuti Ivo Group the opportunity to work with the world’s leading luxury brands as their clients. The Nuti Ivo Group has also distinguished itself over the years with its investments in sustainability and innovation, operating as a point of reference for other companies in this industry.
The history of the company, its operating procedures and the extremely high quality of its products have captured the interest of the LVMH Métiers d’Art Group which joins the company to preserve the authenticity of its products and further act as innovator in the Italian industrial leather industry.
Jean-Baptiste Voisin, LVMH Chief Strategy Officer and President of LVMH Métiers d’Art says “Since its inception, LVMH Métiers d’Art has been in the business of ensuring a future, by providing new opportunities to local artisan excellences which, alone, in the new scenarios of the luxury industry, may struggle to maintain an international projection. Our obsession is to establish lasting partnerships and create value. I am therefore extremely pleased and proud to announce today the entry of Nuti Ivo into LVMH Métiers d’Art, which I like to see as a contemporary community of entrepreneurs and artisans, who communicate and exchange experiences and savoir-faire, while maintaining their own identities, and to which we offer as a Group, a substantial infrastructure and operational support in the commercial domain, human resources, research and development.”
