LVMH Métiers d’Excellence is back on the road to discover future talents, embarking on a new “You and ME” tour with stops scheduled in five French cities from January 31 to March 27, followed by visits to  three cities in Italy later in the year. LVMH Maisons participating in the tour include: Berluti, Celine, Chaumet, Cheval Blanc, Christian Dior Couture, Cravan,  DFS – La Samaritaine, Fred, Givenchy, Guerlain, Hennessy, Kenzo, Krug, La Grande Epicerie de Paris, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, Louis Vuitton, LVMH Client Services, LVMH Recherche, Moët & Chandon, Moët Hennessy, Parfums Christian Dior, Ruinart, Sephora, Veuve Clicquot.

Launched in 2022, this initiative reflects the LVMH Group’s active commitment to inclusion and seeks to develop the employability of young people and people seeking reskilling opportunities in creative, craft and client experience professions (retail, hotels, restaurants and more). The traveling vocational and recruiting fair brings attendees a chance to discover more than 280 skilled professions and apply for over 3,500 jobs (work/study programs, internships, fixed-term and permanent contracts) offered by LVMH Maisons in France in 2024.

The 2023 edition proved a resounding success, drawing 6,000 plus visitors and recruiting talents for over 3,500 positions at LVMH Maisons in France. The LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Institute also had a record year in France, welcoming over 250 apprentices for the 2023–2024 school year. The program posted a very impressive success rate, with 98% of students awarded degrees and a placement rate for graduates of 78%.

The 2024 tour kicks off on January 31 in Paris at the Carreau du Temple, attended by program ambassador Tony Parker and Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies. You & Me will then visit cities near key employment catchment areas for LVMH: Orléans on February 15, Clichy-sous-Bois on February 29, Reims on March 13 and Lyon on March 27.

“We’re very excited about embarking on a new tour this year to meet with future talented employees and encourage them to apply for one of the more than 3,500 new jobs available across the LVMH Group in France in 2024. This third edition of ‘You and ME’ lets young people and others interested in reskilling to discover our amazing array of skilled métiers, to meet talents from our Maisons, to take advantage of coaching from our Human Resources teams, and to apply directly for jobs. We’re also thrilled to once again enjoy invaluable support from our event ambassador, Tony Parker,” says Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies.

The vocational fair will be open from 9 am to 11 am to school groups, and from 11 am to the public. In addition to LVMH’s Métiers d’Excellence, visitors will also have a chance to learn about training available at the LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Institute LVMH and its partner schools. Participants can speak with current apprentices and their tutors during demonstrations of specialized skills. They can also take advantage of personalized support during coaching workshops led by HR teams from LVMH Maisons, covering key steps such as writing a resume and application letter and preparing for job interviews.

What’s more, towards the end their visit, candidates are invited to look for job offers matched to their personal career goals and apply directly in the Perspectives area. To facilitate this process, a new application digitizes resumes and inputs them directly in a database available to Human Resources teams at LVMH Maisons.

Support for candidates continues after the event thanks to a free vocational orientation application called “You & ME La Prépa”, available online at  youandme.lvmh.com. This resource is available to help people prepare their job application and maximize their chances for success thanks to a personalized path adapted to their pace. In addition to this app, personalized coaching for candidates from the non-profit Le Refuge is proposed by Ouissem Belgacem and the Métiers d’Excellence team.
