Released in conjunction with International Women’s Day last March 4, the film WOMAN, of which LVMH is a major partner, is now available on VOD in France. Directed by Anastasia Mikova and Yann Arthus-Bertrand, the film features moving portraits of women from around the world.
Released on March 4, the film WOMAN had its initial theater run cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown measures. The film was re-released in June to continue bringing its universal message to the public while supporting movie theaters.
WOMAN is now available via the VOD platforms of Orange, Canal +, TF1, FilmoTV, UniversCiné and other streaming services. This new channel helps amplify the message of this engaged film. A book published by La Martinière featuring some of the most powerful portraits from the film is also available in bookstores.
With its moving and sincere interviews of women from around the world, WOMAN gives voice to ‘ordinary’ women whose stories are sometimes extraordinary. A universal message transcends their diversity as the films paints a picture of the feminine condition in the world today. Beyond cultural, generational or socio-economic differences, each of these women has or is experiencing events that mark every woman’s life. With great sensitivity and sincerity, the participants talk about such intimate subjects as maternity and their place in society.
