Roland de Farcy appointed President and CEO of Hennessy

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading luxury products group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Roland de Farcy as President and CEO of Hennessy. He will report to Christophe Navarre, President of Moët Hennessy LVMH Wines & Spirits Group, which includes, in addition to Hennessy, such prestigious brands as Dom Pérignon, Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin. Mr. de Farcy will take up his new position on May 22, 2002.

Roland de Farcy, 48, is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and holds an MBA from Stanford University. He worked with Boston Consulting Group in Paris and Chicago prior to founding his own company, which later became a subsidiary of Pepsi Co.
