As a graduate of Edhec in Lille (majoring in marketing), and the Institut Français de la Mode, Anne Picard relied upon her love of products as she moved through the ranks at Céline. She focused on mobility and opportunities, and experienced several professional spheres...

“The products are the core of my experience at Céline. Discovering every stitch always guided me with my choices. They first led me to marketing, as a leather goods Product Manager, then to purchasing, before joining sales in Paris, as an Assistant Manager at the flagship store on avenue Montaigne, then as Store Manager at the rue de Grenelle store. At the end of 2014, I added commercial expertise to my skill base, by taking on my new responsibilities as Coordinator of the Middle East and Russia franchises.

Today, thanks to my cross-disciplinary knowledge of our products and 10 years’ experience at the House, I am tasked with ensuring the Céline identity is respected within our 11 – soon to be 14 – franchised stores. I work in close collaboration, locally, mainly with purchasers and market managers, and at the headquarters with the architecture, merchandising, logistics, marketing and press departments.

Ensuring that everyone is committed requires open-mindedness, flexibility and reactivity, as well as rigor and a flair for organization. Instilling excellence in our stores and securing customer loyalty by sharing a unique experience with them calls upon these same skills. My work is more than a mission, it is a duty, given the quality of the designs our House has been producing since the nomination of Phoebe Philo to the position of Artistic Director. It is our responsibility to deliver the excellence that our products deserve.”
