Launched in 2022, the LVMH China Retail Management Trainee Program was created to identify, train and recruit early career talents in China who showcase a high degree of potential for retail leadership. Joining the program means kickstarting your career as a potential future Retail leader within our unparalleled LVMH ecosystem consisting of 6 business sectors, 75+ Maisons and over 196,000 talents in 81 countries.

The LVMH China Retail Management Trainee Program was created with the goal of equipping early career talents in China with the means and resources they need to become the future Retail leaders at our Maisons.

The 2-year journey is designed to equip you with fundamental Retail and leadership skills, empower you with peer learning and mentorship, and grow your professional network through unique exposure opportunities.

Participating in the program means being fully immersed in a unique journey with 8 of our luxury Maisons; namely Berluti, Fendi, Loro Piana, Rimowa, Chaumet, FRED, Hublot and Tiffany & Co.

The program comprises of 3 main stages at two Maisons of different business sectors spanning over the course of 24 months. Each stage focuses on a fundamental aspect of the Retail function, equipping the selected trainees with the essential skills they need to develop their potential, grow as Retail professionals and thrive in their final Store Team Leader position at one of our Maisons.

Stage 1 is an in-store mission lasting for 9 months, over the course of which the participants go through a Maison induction, receive Sales & Clienteling skills training, and get assigned an in-store project.

Stage 2 is an in-office mission lasting for 3 months. It features a department and a short-term strategic project.

Stage 3 is an in-store mission lasting for 12 months. It features an Influencing Skills workshop, a Leadership Essentials workshop, and an in-store role assignment.

The program ensures a best-in-class experience for all participants throughout their journey. You will receive the support you need to grow during your missions and thrive in your final landing position.

This comes in the form of mentorship with our senior Retail leaders, workshops, peer coaching opportunities, dialogues with the Management Team, and networking opportunities with our early career professional’s community.

  • Recent graduates with up to 2 years of post-graduation professional experience and not currently working for LVMH or our Maisons.
  • Passion for the luxury industry with a commitment to career development in the retail industry.
  • Pragmatic, self-motivated, proactive, flexible, curious with an exploratory spirit.
  • Excellent service awareness, attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
  • A team player with great communication skills and a high level of empathy.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Open to work relocation.
