Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

Accounts Receivable Accountant (1-Year Contract)

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely collection of revenue. This role involves assisting with sales integration tasks, sub-bank clearing, invoice creation, monitoring AR aging, and ensuring accurate customer data under supervision.

• Assisting with sales integration checking and follow-up in resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with sub-bank clearing operations, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of transactions
• Creating invoices and ensuring their accuracy
• Participating in month-end closing processes, assisting with the reconciliation of AR-related accounts and preparation of financial reports
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer master data within the ERP system
• Clearing incoming payments and reconciling with outstanding invoices
• Ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and company policies

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting function
• Large ERP system experience, SAP preferred
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, team, and management 
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and is solution-oriented
