Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).
Global Database Lead Specialist
As a Global Database Lead Specialist, you will lead global master data operations within the Shared Service Center. By working with the Global MD BPO, you will own global master data models and standards, help drive data quality, and coordinate BPO activities for Business-As-Usuals and projects (cleansing, UAT, migrations).

- Owning global master data creations on novelties, non-sellables and suppliers through a ticketing system
- Overseeing delivering from the Database Specialists – SLAs, quality checks, knowledge transfer, back up and continuous improvement
- Helping lead data quality through dashboards and processes, and coordinating data cleansing with BPOs and regions
- Helping BPO for UAT of master data topics in projects – performing UATs according to BPMN, providing preliminary analysis from database to give cleansing recommendations, performing any related tasks needed during the S!One Project
- Supporting local enhancements (e.g. SAP / MDM platform) and participating in release cycles
We would love to hear from you if you are/have…
- A minimum of a two-year higher education diploma
- At least 4 years working in a Shared Service Centre of an international company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great analytical skills and curiosity to learn
- Rigorous and well-organized
- Fluent in English
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of SAP is mandatory, material transactions is a plus, as is prior experience in material data management
