Job Description: Manager, Facilities- East
Reports to: Director, Facilities
General Purpose of Position:
The Manager, Facilities plays a pivotal role in supporting retail and corporate teams to enhance client experience, maintain consistent standards, and ensure operational excellence. This will be achieved through the supervision and coordination of maintenance, repairs, and project management for Christian Dior Couture Boutiques in the Americas. Responsibilities also include the development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans to ensure all Boutiques meet company and legal guidelines regarding client service and employee safety, as well as budget planning and execution.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Facilities to develop an operational strategy and roadmap for Dior Americas Facilities to support growth and deliver high-quality Facilities operations.
- Participate in quarterly reviews and planning sessions for Facilities and project management.
- Assess and improve vendor relationships and contracts, working with the Procurement team to drive service improvements and efficiencies.
- Lead the Facilities team to meet the needs of boutiques and remote offices.
- Manage planned and unplanned repairs and maintenance needs.
- Oversee cleaning program scope and contracts.
- Coordinate boutique projects, including improvements and upgrades.
- Monitor energy management systems and utilities.
- Maintain clear communication with teams.
- Ensure a safe working environment by partnering with health and safety teams and monitoring building tests and systems maintenance contracts in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Foster a client-driven approach to all facilities needs.
- Focus on day-to-day requirements of the work order management tool provided by Service Channel.
- Set and improve SLA goals to ensure work orders are resolved promptly, exceeding boutique expectations.
- Identify opportunities for new or updated features within management tools to improve processes, efficiency, and performance visibility.
- Drive adoption of tools in boutiques and with vendors through consistent communication, updates, and training assistance.
- Champion new initiatives and processes to enhance efficiency, speed, and quality of service in boutiques.
- Develop and evaluate SOPs and processes based on field execution knowledge and opportunities.
- Utilize reporting to identify key metrics for monitoring and assessing improvement opportunities.
- Assist in budget and expense planning annually for Opex R&M and Capex projects, meeting financial goals while maintaining boutique standards.
- Use historical expense data and vendor contracts for boutique growth planning.
Profile
- Analyze preventive maintenance and proactive replacement schedules for key categories and unplanned repairs.
- Plan for larger scale Capex projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including Executives, Regional Leaders, Boutique Managers, landlords, and building managers.
- Collaborate closely with Americas and Paris Store Design teams.
- Partner consistently with Asset Protection, Visual Merchandising, Operations, and regional leadership.
- Support the continuous development of the Facilities team to drive performance and results.
- Build career paths for team members and plan for department growth and succession.
- Work with team members on key development areas to enhance performance.
- Prioritize tasks, react quickly, and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain effective communication cadence and approach for different audiences.
- Focus on continuous improvement for all processes and initiatives.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and proactive with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Superior follow-through, organization, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment.

Additional information
The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $110,000 - $120,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
