For our boutique in Düsseldorf we are looking for a  Store Operations Manager with passion and drive. As a member of our team, your mission is to create the best possible conditions for the store team to perform by overseeing operations, managing the Image (including maintenance and IT issues), and ensuring smooth administrative procedures.

You work in tandem with the boutique manager that you report to and lead the back of house team and operations team to strive for excellence, secure the efficiency & effectiveness of the operations and embrace change for business performance.

Job responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth retail operations to drive sales, deliver exceptional service to the client, and implement business initiatives
  • Oversee inventory management, operational efficiency and care services
  • Ensure store compliance to policies and processes and drive operational excellence through audits & action plans
  • Supervise and manage all tasks and procedures regarding to shipping / receiving, cycle counts, overall inventory management
  • Collaborate with boutique and department managers for stock replenishment and propose operational improvements
  • Foster teamwork within the back of house and promote cross-boutique collaboration
  • Lead the operations team, provide feedback, coaching, and support staff development
  • Manage cashiering functions, till reconciliation, and daily closing processes
  • Monitor and control boutique expenses (e.g., petty cash, P&L analysis)
  • Provide "Manager on Duty" coverage and oversee new hire onboarding and staff training
  • Lead back-office tool roll-outs and assist with retail project implementations

Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in an operational role, with a minimum of 2 years in a management position
  • Solution-oriented with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional time management, and prioritization skills
  • Results-driven with a passion for creativity, fashion, and the maison
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills, with an adaptable and agile mindset
  • Ability to quickly identify solutions, plan strategically, and effectively manage, coach, and lead a team
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
