Christian Dior Netherlands is looking for an experienced Deputy Boutique Manager to join one of his store in Amsterdam.

Working with the Boutique Manager, the Deputy Boutique Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the sales team and ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the Boutique in line with Christian Dior expectations:

In this role you are responsible for the management, coordination of the team and the sales development in accordance with our guidelines.

You ensure an excellent client experience together with high & qualitative sales. You represent the style and the image of Christian Dior.

 

Job responsibilities

Your main role is:

  • Develop sales

Optimise sales by attracting and recruiting new clients, public relations, client service, client loyalty

Develop and maintain a qualitative client network, being an ambassador of the brand, coordinating in-store events and participating to local events outside the boutique

Closely monitor sales reports and merchandise needs in order to ensure proper stock levels

Oversee the execution of window displays and maintain high standards for in-store merchandising

 

  • Commercial Performance and Team Management:

Increase sales and measure sales performance and conversion rates daily

Provide and inspire outstanding service to our customers

Follow up the activity using KPI’s in order to reach the boutique targets

Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals of Sales Associates

Responsible for clientele development

Participate in the preparation of merchandise displays and presentations, exercising independent judgment and discretion in applying merchandising concepts and guidelines

Conduct and/or participate in regular store meetings to discuss performance, sales training, product knowledge, merchandising, and to convey other necessary information to management staff and associates

Provide regular reports & analysis to take initiatives to increase the business

 

  • Team Management

Ensure a strong presence on the shop floor to be a role model and support the team

Focus on people development: manage, coach and train the sales staff

Optimise the staff competencies to lead the business growth

Train, coach, develop, and lead sales associates in selling skills

Facilitate proper communication between management and associates

 

  • Process management

Oversee compliance of associates with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, merchandise handling, security, sales and record-keeping procedures

Help solve problems that affect the department’s service, efficiency, and productivity

Lock and secure the store, and oversee compliance with all security procedures

Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

Oversee boutique operations activities

Profile

Skills Required

 

  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the management of a luxury store within a Retail team management role.
  • Excellent client experience for our demanding clientele.
  • You have a qualitative and deep understanding of local current & for potential clients
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury industry with fashion sensitivity consistent with the brand
  • Demonstration of own initiative
  • Adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. Any additional language is a plus.
  • In this role you will report to the Boutique Manager.

 

Location: Amsterdam, in store

Full time: 40h per week
