Job responsibilities

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

You will oversee international transportation, playing and managing international imports & exports, in close collaboration with central team/forwarder/broker to strengthen CELINE Transportation.

In this role, you will be keeping track of transportation operations and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and safety rules are followed.

Your impact

Transportation Manager

• Import / Export coordination
  • Invoice handling for both imports and exports for all sellable and non-sellable products
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, costs and efficiency
  • Coordinate the shipments/products are delivered and placed at the right location on time.
  • Respond to and solve complaints and problems.
  • Building and manage relationships with forwarders and brokers.
  • Complying with transportation-policies, as well as safety rules, union contracts and regulations
• Working closely with the Supply Chain and Warehousing team to improve operational efficiency of Celine from Central WH to Regional WH.
• Responsible for the project including import/export, local audits, international transportation and monitoring the flow of goods.
• Analyze accurate and reliable statistical data to determine KPI’s of transportation flow
• Ensure IT systems in place are effective, maintained and accurate.

Profile

Education:

• University or “equivalent experience”

Experience:

• Position requires minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation
• Experience in Transportation/Logistics projects a plus
• Experience in luxury/fashion business a plus
