General Purpose of the Position:

Responsible for upholding the Loro Piana brand integrity by managing and executing extraordinary window creativity and interior visual merchandising.  The over arching goal is to unify the local business strategy, and the global VM expectations within both the retail and wholesale channels, to achieve net sales and KPIs. The Area Visual Manager is responsible for managing the VM execution within multiple locations and will be required to travel. This role will be required to oversee the fostering and development of relationships amongst store teams and act as a liaison between the Regional Visual Manager, Visual Merchandising Specialists, and store teams. They will manage and support the facilitation of product knowledge and VM training of all store team members post monthly visits. As a brand ambassador, the role embodies the Loro Piana spirit by expressing the brand’s history, culture, and values through the visual merchandising lensKey.

Job responsibilities

  • Executing all VM actions required to maximize business results in line with the visual strategy delivered by the Regional Visual Manager and business partners
  • Weekly meeting with Regional Visual Manager in order to align and define all responsibilities and priorities inclusive of: rotation schedule, installation planning, travel agenda, VM and creative guideline review, store visit insight, team communication, special projects and administration
  • Guiding and facilitating weekly touch bases with all business partners in order to align on the following: travel, upcoming rotations, floor planning, business reactivity, product knowledge development, identifying visual opportunities and successes
  • Managing and executing all VM rotations in partnership with Regional Visual Manager, Visual Referents, DSAs, business partners and in-store teams while utilizing global VM guidelines to ensure Loro Piana’s brand integrity is upheld
  • Develop accountable relationships within the WHL channel in order to sustain brand VM expectations, including, but not limited to: visual managers, business partners, floor managers, departments heads and DSA
  • Executing extraordinary displays that convey a brand mood and theme while also achieving a strong balance of commerciality and cross-selling within the RTL and WHL channels
  • Monthly rotations, special projects and travel will require the area visual manager to be flexible to work outside of normal business hours inclusive of weekends to the needs of the business
  • Manage the VM maintenance, store environment and technical clarity of all client facing areas which include: windows, interiors, mannequin styling, VM tool use, campaign images/digital, logo visibility and fixture placement
  • Collaborate with all business partners and in-store team to ensure the VM inventory is well organized and maintained at all times
  • Guide and manage the facilitation of all VM and product knowledge training throughout the season as well as during the onboarding of new sales professionals and DSAs alongside the Regional Manager and business partners. In addition, identify visual training opportunities and provide the necessary feedback and training strategy
  • Take the initiative to consistently propose elevated display solutions to the Regional Visual Manager and Director of Visual Merchandising in line with the brand vision
  • Work with business partners and Regional Visual Manager in order to develop a visual strategy to support peak seasonal periods, including: rotation schedule, window styling and collection placement
