Position

For over 170 years, Louis Vuitton has defined luxury — not merely as product, but as a world. A world where visionary craftsmanship meets global ambition, where heritage informs every decision and excellence is not a goal but a baseline. Within the LVMH Group, we operate across 60 countries, led by extraordinary people who understand that to represent this Maison is to uphold something rare.

If you have spent years building high-performing teams, driving revenue, and doing the hard work of making a business better every single day — you already know what we are looking for. The question is whether you are ready for what we are offering.

Job responsibilities

Louis Vuitton is seeking exceptional Team Managers across our Sydney market — a leader equally at home coaching a newly onboarded Client Advisor as they are challenging a Senior Client Advisor managing a client book exceeding $5 million annually. This is a role for someone who has already done the work. Who understands that leadership in retail is not a title — it is a daily commitment to your people, your clients, and your numbers.

Louis Vuitton is the masterclass of retail — a business of extraordinary complexity and scale that demands leaders who have already earned their credibility. Our Team Managers operate across a floor where commercial intensity, client sophistication, and pace of change far exceed most luxury environments. It will take resilience, instinct, and the kind of composure that only comes from having led through real pressure — not merely observed it.

If that excites rather than daunts you, read on.

What This Role Demands

You are a commercially driven leader with a genuine love of retail — out the front, reading the floor, modelling the standard. You bring both the warmth to develop people and the rigour to hold them, and yourself, accountable.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive commercial performance with confidence and precision, articulating how you move business day to day and week to week
  • Lead a team spanning the full spectrum — from Client Advisors finding their feet to senior experts stewarding the most significant client relationships in the market
  • Champion a coaching culture that is structured, measurable, and invested in individual growth — not enthusiasm without outcome
  • Uphold the standards of client experience that define the Louis Vuitton name, nurturing relationships that endure across years and milestones
  • Collaborate with store leadership to shape culture, succession, and long-term business performance

Profile

You are a mature, seasoned leader — not someone still developing your leadership philosophy, but someone who has lived it. You bring approximately five years of leadership experience at Store or Department Manager level within a premium or luxury brand, or equivalent scope at Area Manager level. You are across your numbers and can speak fluently to how you build a business, retain a client, and grow a person — because you have done all three, repeatedly, under pressure.

You will thrive here if you:

  • Love being on the floor — energised by clients, teams, and the daily commercial rhythm of retail
  • Hold yourself and others to standards that others might find confronting, and do so with clarity and care
  • Have built teams, not just managed them — and can point to careers you have genuinely shaped
  • Are ambitious and purposeful about where you are heading — ideally toward a Store Manager pathway

This role will not be the place where you find your footing as a leader. Louis Vuitton rewards those who arrive ready — with the experience, the instincts, and the commercial fluency to make an impact from day one.
