Reporting to Head of Customer Marketing, the Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing customer marketing strategies that drive commercial value and brand desirability across assigned channels or portfolio areas for Hong Kong & Macau. You will be a pivotal force in shaping our brand's success, reporting directly to the Head of Customer Marketing. This dynamic role empowers you to develop and execute innovative customer marketing strategies that not only drive significant commercial value but also elevate brand desirability across your assigned channels or portfolio. You will serve as the essential bridge between Brand Marketing and Sales, expertly translating overarching brand strategies into compelling, impactful customer and consumer experiences.
Job responsibilities
How you will contribute…
CORE FUNCTIONS:
- PLAN: Define customer marketing strategies, channel activation priorities and investment allocation aligned with brand, portfolio and commercial objectives
- ACTIVATE: Translate brand vision, business needs and consumer insights into channel-relevant activations that drive commercial impact, strengthen visibility and protect luxury brand equity
- MEASURE: Evaluate activation effectiveness through KPIs, ROI analysis, commercial impact and post-activation learning
- SCALE: Codify successful models into playbooks, build repeatable activation frameworks and contribute to regional knowledge sharing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy & Planning
- Lead the development of customer marketing strategies across channels, ensuring alignment with brand ambition, channel priorities and commercial objectives
- Define channel-specific activation plans that translate brand strategies into commercially relevant customer and consumer experiences
- Develop portfolio and assortment guidelines by channel, identifying the role of each Maison, brand and SKU within key customer environments
- Own POSM strategy across channels, defining asset roles, visibility objectives, deployment priorities, outlet segmentation and expected commercial impact to strengthen in-trade presence, drive brand standout and influence shopper and consumer conversion at key touchpoints
- Lead the development of scalable activation models, toolkits, and playbooks that can be adapted across channels, customers and priority outlets
- Provide strategic direction for Hit List management and outlet prioritization, ensuring resources are focused on high-impact opportunities
- Accountable for channel ROI, commercial impact, A&P allocation and execution excellence
Execution Excellence
- Own the end-to-end development of BTL activations and orchestrate with ATL strategies to deliver a cohesive commercial plan
- Drive activation excellence across key on-premises and luxury hospitality environments, including HORECA, bars, nightclubs, hotels and casinos, ensuring each execution is tailored to channel dynamics, consumer occasions and brand objectives
- Lead the development of venue partnerships, menu placement programs, perfect serve initiatives, staff engagement and brand education programs to enhance brand presence and advocacy in priority outlets
- Oversee POSM, visibility assets, merchandising tools and creative materials required for activation campaigns to deliver commercial impact
- Own relationships with execution agencies and external partners, setting clear standards for delivery quality, timeline management, cost efficiency and brand compliance
- Lead post-activation reviews, tracking KPIs, ROI, execution quality, POSM effectiveness and key learnings to improve future activation models and identify scalable best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the strategic lead and commercial bridge, actively translating Brand strategies into actionable Sales priorities to deliver impactful business results
- Take full ownership of integrating marketing calendars with sales priorities, driving cross-functional alignment to deliver seamless market execution
- Drive execution excellence and contribute to regional best practice sharing via APAC CM Community
Financial Management
- Own the BTL A&P budget including trade activation, POSM and merchandising
- Implement A&P and FTT tracking methods to ensure budget adherence
- Analyze activation spend and challenge expenditure to optimize ROI
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and provide recommendations for future strategy
Profile

- A minimum of 8 years of solid and relevant experience in customer marketing, trade marketing, retail marketing, or category management within consumer industries.
- A strong track record of successfully developing and executing activations across assigned channel environments.
- Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to identify customer and channel opportunities and translate them into effective customer marketing initiatives.
- Proven strengths in strategic planning, execution, presentation, and negotiation.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in local language.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with hands-on experience using data analytics tools such as Power BI, Aspire, and ROI modeling.
- Exposure to brand marketing, product marketing, or key account management would be an asset.
- WSET Level 2 certification in wines and spirits would be preferred.
