MISSION STATEMENT

  • Drive continuous improvement in channel productivity and brand image through innovative marketing activations and promotions.
  • To help sales teams & brand teams to achieve commercial objectives with sustainable growth models
  • Work with Brand Marketing and Sales team to ensure excellent execution of channel activations. Drive continuous enhancement of consumer relations ahead of competition.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business planning
  1. Define marketing activation plan based on consumer demand, brand direction and specific business requirements
  2. Own the development of channel strategy & produce tracking report/analysis as needed
  3. Work closely with Brand Marketing team and Sales team on execution to ensure commerciality and consumer relevance in all channel activations
  4. Acquire channel intelligence & insights through survey, analysis, regular catch-up & market visit
  • BTL activations
  1. Ensure flawless execution of brand campaigns and channel activations
  2. Evaluate performance and results of campaigns to refine and improve effectiveness of future campaigns both quantitatively and qualitatively
  3. Pro-actively assess any performance issues and develop solutions to address them
  4. Initiate and implement store specific marketing support based on business needs and resource availability
  5. Work cross-functionally in resolving issues related to channel development, trade communication, and customer service
  • System and Teamwork
  1. Work with Sales Planning, Market Intelligence, and other CE team members in developing systems/processes to track channel activation deployment & effectiveness
  2. Allocate projects & tasks among CE on-trade team members to best maximize efficiency
  3. Develop team members in terms of commercial acumen & also communication skills

Job responsibilities

  • Good understanding of the wine & spirit industry
  • Able to demonstrate quantitative ability
  • Strong commercial marketing sense and be insightful on consumer understanding
  • Brand Management knowledge on the brand positioning/ media / PR / promotion / research / merchandising
  • Business planning and activation planning skills with execution experience
  • Good creative and strategic thinking as well as logical analytical skills
  • Good Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • A high degree of personal presence with good networking, influencing and communication skills
  • Good negotiation and strong social skills
