Assistant Finance Manager

MISSION STATEMENT
• Optimizing Route-to-Market (RTM) investment efficiency, leading cost-saving & process improvement initiatives, and ensuring accurate financial closing & payable management.
• Act as a commercial business partner to the sales team, leveraging data insights to maximize ROI and ensure compliance.

 

Job responsibilities

1. Payable Management, Discount Analysis & Reporting
• Oversee channel commercial payment processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely settlements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of investment contracts, including template standardization, new con-tract profitability analysis and commitment tracking.

2. Investment Efficiency & Performance Review
• Analyse investment profitability and achievement rates across multiple dimensions. Conduct in-depth reviews of RTM investment efficiency for diversified channels to maximize ROI.
• Lead regular business reviews with sales stakeholders, providing data-driven insights on spend effectiveness.
• Track investment savings initiatives to quantify financial impact and process improvements.
• Manage and optimize RTM payment strategies by analyzing discrepancies between shipment and channel activation data.
• Participate in formulating investment guideline and discussion.

3. Financial Closing & Compliance
• Execute monthly closing activities for accruals and payable balance review.
• Ensure all contract and payment processes adhere to internal control policies and audit requirements.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Mandarin
• French could be a plus
• 5+ years of proven experience in commercial finance, with a strong focus on trade investment management. Background in FMCG is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines during monthly/quarterly closing cycles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
